What to Expect in Our Classes

Bronze Acro classes are structured to introduce students to foundational acrobatic skills in a fun and supportive environment. We emphasise safety, technique, and gradual skill progression, ensuring students develop confidence and joy in their acro practice.

Performance Opportunities

Bronze Acro students have the opportunity to showcase their newfound skills in our annual production. These performances allow students to experience the thrill of being on stage and share their achievements with family and friends.

Exams and Assessments

Unlike higher-level programs, examinations are optional, not mandatory, for Bronze acrobats. We strongly recommend sitting the exam if the teacher indicates your student is ready, as this gives students a greater sense of purpose and drive in class. However, there is the option for students to progress at their own pace without the pressure of formal assessments, focusing on personal growth and enjoyment.

Uniform Requirements

Bronze Acro students are required to wear:

- Spearmint leotard

- Pink fitted shorts
- Bare feet for optimal grip and control

Structure of the Dance Year

Our dance year is structured to provide a comprehensive experience, with key events and milestones to look forward to:

- Annual Production: Held in Term 2 (June), featuring exciting acro performances.

Time Investment and Parental Support

To help students succeed and enjoy their acro journey, we recommend parental support in encouraging practice at home. We provide video resources to assist with reviewing and perfecting techniques.
