Miss Rose's lifelong passion for dance ignited during her early years, where she embarked on a classical training journey encompassing RAD, BBO, IDTA, ISTD, and NZAMD. By the tender age of 13, her extraordinary talent led to acceptance into the prestigious full-time Diploma in Dance program at the esteemed National Ballet & Dance School in Christchurch, known as the International Ballet Academy.

During her formative years, Rose had the privilege of being mentored by illustrious dance legends, including luminaries like Sir Russell Kerr, Ann Judson, Fiona Tonkin, Michelle Robinson, and Sir Jon Trimmer. She graced the stage in iconic ballet productions such as Swan Lake, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker, honing her artistry and technique.

In 2008, Rose relocated to Palmerston North to pursue her university studies and, in doing so, uncovered the vibrant performing arts community that the region had to offer. Palmerston North presented her with the opportunity to immerse herself in her first teaching position, a momentous step that would shape her future.

Miss Rose's dedication to her craft is evidenced by her attainment of all vocational ballet levels, reaching the pinnacle of Advanced 2 with Distinction. She holds internationally recognized teaching qualifications in both RAD and IDTA Ballet, along with expertise in IDTA Jazz.

​

Furthermore, Rose has distinguished herself as a Certified Progressing Ballet Technique teacher and a Certified Acrobatic Arts instructor, specializing in Acro, Aerial Hoop (Lyra), and Conditioning classes, delivering precision and ensuring safety in every movement.

​

Beyond her dance credentials, Rose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Biological Sciences. Her unique background in performance nutrition, physiology, kinesiology, psychology, and behavior enriches her classes, offering students a more profound understanding and holistic experience.

A testament to her unwavering commitment to her students, Miss Rose personally teaches all classes, ensuring that each student benefits from her wealth of experience and expertise. Her dedication to the art of dance and the well-being of her students is the cornerstone of The Rose Academy's success.
