Skills and Techniques

Our curriculum covers the essentials of aerial acrobatics, including balancing, spinning, rolling, and classic technique, while also building the strength required for more advanced moves. As students master these foundational skills, they will have the opportunity to craft and perform choreographed aerial routines, elevating their artistry to new heights.

As students master Aerial Hoop, they will have the opportunity to transition to Aerial Silks, broadening their horizon of aerial artistry and innovation. Mastery of the foundational levels of Lyra (Aerial Hoop) is required before advancing to the silks, ensuring a solid base of skills and safety.

Safety and Supervision

Safety is paramount in our program. All aerial work takes place under the vigilant supervision of a certified coach, with safety mats in place to provide added reassurance. Our structured approach ensures students progress at a pace that prioritizes their well-being. Please note that due to the loading limits on our equipment, there is an upper weight limit of 100kg. Additionally, a disclaimer will be required to be signed to undertake these classes due to the inherent risk associated with this type of activity.

Comprehensive Training

To optimise skill development, we recommend complementing your Aerial Hoop training with weekly dance technique and acro classes. This holistic approach enhances overall strength, flexibility, and coordination, essential for excelling in aerial arts.

Performance Opportunities

Our students will have the chance to showcase their talents in choreographed aerial routines, participating in productions and studio presentations that highlight their skill and creativity.
